ROA members please get voting!

The ROA/sportingbet.com Awards are an established highlight of racing's social year.

This year's awards will take place on Thursday 3 December at the London Hilton, Park Lane.

The black tie evening honours racing's stars, and ROA members play a key role by voting for their champions, equine and human, of the seasons.

Tickets are £135 each or £1,200 for a table of ten.

  

Kalahari has been nominated for the "Outstanding Novice Chaser" award.

" Few top novices take on their seniors but Kalahari King did , running a fine race to be second to Twist Magic in the celebration chase at Sandown. That followed an excellent campaign that yielded successes in fairly modest races at Kelso and Leicester and the Maghull Novices Chase at Aintree, in which Kalahari put up a devastating display to make most of the running and beat Tatenen by 8 lengths. He also finished a fine second to Forpadydeplasterer in the Arkle at Cheltenham".
