SHARES REMAINING IN - "BABA 'O' CURRAGH" - 2006, GR F Dom Alco (FR) - Babacha (FR) (Latnahc (USA))
Full sister to TRIBAL VENTURE who we trained at Wynbury and was a very successful bumper horse, hurdler & chaser. She is in full work and will be ready to run in the early spring, we intend to give her a couple of runs in bumpers then a summers grass and looks a cracking prospect for mares races next season. Half already sold , two quarter shares remaining at £5000 per share.

"DOMOLY" - 2003 BAY GELDING BY VARESE OUT OF QUEEN D'OUILLY
This chap has been given plenty of time to mature and we have done all of the ground work with him, we will still give him a run in a bumper before he goes novice hurdling. Looks like he has got an engine and lots of fun can be had with this fellow. £10,000.

"BY EMPEROR FOUUNTAIN" - 2004 BAY GELDING BY EMPEROR FOUNTAIN OUT OF "STATE LADY"
A cracking individual with all the looks who has been going really well on the gallops. I think this horse has a lot of potential as he has schooled nicely - related to Grand National winner Amberleigh House.

Good day at Sedgefield yesterday with three runners, two seconds and a winner. Firstly Mac's Island ran a blinder on his first run after a lengthy lay off, he just got tired in the run in and made a mistake at the last two fences which may have cost him the win. The second horse was Smart Mistress, a full sister to the useful chaser Smart Thinker who was sold at the Doncaster sales last spring. She showed little on her first run over hurdles, but after the performance yesterday, it seems, just like her sister she is an out and out chaser. She has a great attitude and it won't be long before she is winning over the larger obstacles. To finish the day off "Sumak" won the last (2m1f handicap hurdle) on ground which looked too soft for him. He toughed it out to win in good style for his new owners Mr Tony Pye & Masoud Khadem.

Above - One to watch this season " Riguez Dancer"
The highlights from today were Only the Best in the first (2nd), Riguez Dancer (2nd) & The Hollinwell (2nd). It was a little frustrating that we didn't get a winner from such great efforts from the horses , but they look brilliant prospects for this season and there will be plenty more days in them. Catch Bob never liked the ground & Graham looked after him and pulled him up, it was worth the gamble running for the prize money involved.
We have no runners now until the weekend which will give us time to catch up in the yard. It looks as though we will have some horses out at Doncaster on Saturday and it is possible that Watch My Back will run in the Boylesports at Cheltenham.
Leading Man "Donal" was in to school over fences in preparation for the point to point season. He is in training with Vicky Dobbin and Nathan Moscrop gave him a good school over both plain fences and ditches. He looked in fantastic condition and took it all in his stride, it was hard to beleive that he hadn't seen a fence for over 18 months.
He is definately one to watch this pointing season.

"The young people who come into racing today have much to learn from those "characters" that have been involved and worked with horses all their lives. One of those "characters" is Ernie Peterson. "
