PROMISING LEAUPARTIE IN THE FRENCH OAKS

For her third start, and for the first time at the highest level, Leaupartie (Stormy River) ran very well in the Prix de Diane (French Oaks, Gr1), finishing 6th, only beaten by a neck and a short neck of the fourth place. She has proven she is a Groupe filly and she should be back in action in Deauville. Léaupartie is owned by Gérard Augustin-Normand, and has been purcharsed for only 25.000€.

LEAUPARTIE, A NEW STAR !

For her second start, Leaupartie (Stormy River) won in an impressive style the Prix Lunadix (B). She was just pushed out inside the final 300 meters to comfortably beat Verema by 3 1/2 lengths. She got a Rising Star by JDG, the french TDN. The filly is a classic prospect. Undoubtedly, she has enough quality to win a Group race soon.

LE VILLARD STILL UNBEATEN

Le Villard (Jeremy) stayed unbeaten in two starts. Last wednesday, he won a B race in Chantilly, easily. Gogarty, who finished second, was third previously in a Listed Race won by Lucayan, winner of the French Guineas. Le Villard will improve a lot. He was born in may, and did not work at 2, so the best is to come for him ! Fabrice bought him as a yearling for only 22.000€.

LE VILLARD IMPRESSIVE IN HIS DEBUT

Le Villard (Jeremy) won his first race in an impressive style, last thursday, in a maiden, in Longchamp. Fabrice bought him as a yearling in october 2010, at Arqana sales, for 22.000€. The colt has not worked hard before that race, and will improve a lot.

FLYING LORD SINCLAIR IN DEAUVILLE

Lord Sinclair (Mizzen Mast) won in an impressive style the Prix Montenica, a listed-race, last thursday in Deauville. It was the second start for the grey colt, who only made his debut last month, in Cagnes-sur-Mer. Lord Sinclair beat Robert le Diable, who had more experience than him and is confirmed at this level, as he scored third in a listed-race last year. Obviously he will now aim the good races in the spring, either the Prix Djebel or the Prix de Fontainebleau (Gr3), the prep-races for the Poule d'Essai des Poulains (Gr1).

Sant Alberto, 2nd in the Grand Prix du Conseil General des Alpes-Maritimes (L)

After his win in a prep race, Sant’Alberto (Colossus) was an excellent 2nd in the Grand Prix du Conseil Général des Alpes-Maritimes, a listed-race which is the first leg of the Defi du Galop. With a better travel, there is no doubt he will have finished closer to the winner, Griraz.

Lord Sinclair impressive for his first start

Lord Sinclair (Mizzen Mast) was quite impressive when winning his maiden for his first start, in Cagnes-sur-Mer. The grey colt was the only beginner of the race. Fabrice bought him as a yearling in Keeneland, for $52.000. JDG decided to attribute him a JDG Rising Star. Lord Sinclair could now run in the Prix Montenica, a listed-race, in Deauville. He is definitely one of the great hope of the stable.

2011 : a great year

2011 was a great year for Fabrice’s team. With 60 % of his horses finishing in the money, and an average earning of €15.000, for a total of more than 1 million € earnings, the stable is in the top twenty stables in France. 2012 has started even better. In Cagnes-sur-Mer, whose meeting Fabrice has always been an early enthusiast, the horses picked up a nice crop of wins and are now ready to begin the parisian season in the best conditions.
