THE BEST IS YET TO COME !

2012 was a great year for the stable. With an average of 40 horses in the yard, we can proud ourselves with 42 victories, and more than EUR 1,3 million earnings. Leaupartie and Blue Soave have both won at Grade 3 level. Sant’Alberto has won a leg of the Defi du Galop. Lord Sinclair was a Listed winner before being sold to Hongkong, just like Le Villard and Less is More. Many thanks to our faithful owners !

In a few days, the Cagnes sur Mer meeting will start on the Côte d’Azur. As usual, the stable should pick up a nice crop of wins.

THE STABLE IN GREAT FORM !

October is not finished yet, but my team and I pride ourselves to register 6 victories et 18 places for only 41 runners. This means 59% of the horses in the money ! Among them, Casquito, bought in a claiming race for only €9.219, has won a Quinte+ in Lyon. Congratulations to his connections !

COURAGEOUS BLUE SOAVE...

Blue Soave (Soave) showed a great courage when running in the Prix de la Forêt (Gr1), during the Arc week-end. Despite a terrible trip, on a sticky ground he doesn’t like, he kept the sixth place. He should have finished closer without all these traffic troubles.
Léaupartie (Stormy River) was a non-runner in the Prix de l’Opéra, due to a minor setback.

FINAL GALLOPS FOR LEAUPARTIE AND BLUE SOAVE BEFORE THE ARC WEEK-END

On monday morning, on the Aigles grass gallops, Leaupartie (Stormy River), ridden by Grégory Benoist, and Blue Soave (Soave), with Thierry Thulliez on the saddle, had their final works before the Arc week-end. Leaupartie, winner of the Prix de Psyche (Gr3) and a good 2nd in the Prix de la Nonette (Gr2), is set to take part in the Prix de l'Opera (Gr1), while Blue Soave, who won the Prix du Pin (Gr3), will be supplemented for the Prix de la Forêt (Gr1). A great week-end to come for the stable !

ANOTHER GROUP SUCCESS THIS SUMMER

One month after Léaupartie (Stormy River), the stable enjoyed another Group success, when Blue Soave (Soave) was successful in the Prix du pin (Gr3). Quite keen, with a long stride, Blue Soave once again set off at the head of affairs in this race and was already three lengths clear 400m out. He was never threatened by any of his rivals. He should now run in the Prix de la Forêt (Gr1), on Arc week-end. Blue Soave is owned and has been bred by Karine Belluteau. He was not sold as a yearling for €14.000.

LEAUPARTIE SECOND IN THE PRIX DE LA NONETTE

After her brilliant success in the Prix de Psyche (Gr3), Leaupartie (Stormy River) was an excellent second in the Prix de la Nonette Shadwell (Gr2), only beaten by Romantica (Galileo), who took her revenge on our filly. Leaupartie could now aim the Prix de Vermeille (Gr1), but she has also different opportunities abroad.

SANT'ALBERTO BECOMES MEAN THREAT TO AIZAVOSKI

Sant'Alberto (Colossus) has won the 9th stage of the Defi du Galop in Clairefontaine. After his second place in Cagnes-sur-Mer, the colt becomes the mean threat to Aizavoski (Monsun), the current leader of the challenge. Always in a good position behind Flash Dance (Monsun) and Simba (Anabaa Blue), Sant'Alberto made his move 350m from the line and then held off the late attack from Technokrat (Oratorio). Sant'Alberto could now run the stage of Strasbourg.

A FIRST GROUP FOR LEAUPARTIE

Leaupartie (Stormy River) has won her first Group 3 last saturday, in the Prix Psyche. She proved herself an improving filly when denying the favourite Romantica. She confirmed her good run in the Prix de Diane (French Oaks, Gr1), when she finished 6th, only beaten by a neck and a short neck of the fourth place. She has now plenty of options and we will decide later what's next.

WHAT A YEAR ! AND IT'S JUST THE BEGINNING...

What a year ! After nearly seven months of racing, the stable is proud to register this fantastic statistic : 50% of the horses have finishing in the money. The average earning per horse places us in the top-15 stables in Paris. Deauville is coming soon, and we can hope for other good wins, as this meeting is always a highlight of the year for us.
